RAFFAELLO 2020

RAFFAELLO 2020

Raffaello 2020 narrates the art and life of Raffaello Sanzio, giving life to a great immersive format. The immersive exhibition was conceived on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the death of the painter from Urbino in 2020, and it allowed Crossmedia Group to celebrate this important anniversary with a great immersive event curated by professor Vincenzo Farinella of the University of Pisa.

The exhibition offers the public a journey through the biography of the maestro, from his birth in Urbino in 1483 to his premature death in Rome, amongst the splendours of the Pope’s court, in 1520. An holistic immersive offer, where the circular sound emphasizes the visual element of the narration. The path has also been enhanced by the Holograms Theatre, created by Naumachia Network for Crossmedia Group, along with the Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Rooms, where the reproduction of the Cartoon for the School of Athens turns into a visual support for the additional information on Raphael’s fresco.
