Incredible Florence is the first immersive exhibition produced in full by Crossmedia Group: a multimedia production that aims to narrate in only 40 minutes 2000 years of the history of one of the most beautiful cities in the world: Florence.
The exhibition follows a chronological order, focusing first on the beginning of the city, from the foundation of the Roman municipium, the decline of the Early Middle Ages, and the bloodstained city of the tower homes, up to the blooming of its Golden Age between the first decades of the 14th century and the late 16th century, that legendary era when the history of the Western society changed forever on the banks of the Arno river. At the end, the exhibition addresses the modern times, focusing on the great conflicts of the XX century, the rebuilding of the city after the great war, the flood of 1966, and Florence as the city of haute couture.
The visual narration develops across a 60-minute production, where images and music reshape the space of the exhibition, creating a device that travels through history and that is, at the same time, both in and out of time.
