Da Vinci Experience is the immersive exhibition dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci and one of Crossmedia Group’s flagship productions. In 2019 it was chosen chosen by MAE – the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs – together with the network of Italian Institutes of Culture and Enel, to celebrate 500 years since the death of the greatest genius of the Renaissance, through the use of immersive narration.
Curated by the director of the Leonardian Museum in Vinci, Dr. Roberta Barsanti, Da Vinci Experience proposes a narrative video-mapping project focused on the life and the works of Leonardo.
The biographical journey of the great Renaissance artist is presented to the public through a holistic immersivity concept, where circular sound enhances visual element of the story. The exhibition is enriched by some reproductions of the machines designed by Leonardo, both in full-size and in scale, based on the artist’s original drawings.
As of today, Da Vinci Experience has touched 22 cities in the world and has been visited by more than a milion people.
